and Volunteer Connections invites Forsyth County
nonprofit leaders from agencies with <$200,000 Annual
Operating Budget who are not members of the N.C. Center
for Nonprofits to apply for full or partial scholarships
to attend the Annual Conference of The North Carolina Center
for Nonprofits "2007 Summit for the Nonprofit Sector,"
to be held in Winston Salem October 24-26. Please complete
and submit application to info@nonprofit-connections.org
by 8:00pm Thursday, August 23. Number and amounts of scholarships
will be determined by the Nonprofit Scholarship Selection
Committee based on need and description in the application.
Committee decisions are final and notification will be the
week of August 27th. Click

Nonprofits
in the Piedmont Triad are invited to participate in “Win-Win
at the Wyndham,” a program designed to increase
revenue for charitable organizations through helping sell
tickets to the Wyndham Championship, the Piedmont Triad’s
PGA Tour Event. Each participating 501(c)(3) nonprofit will
receive half of the proceeds from the tournament tickets
it sells. All a nonprofit must do to participate is register
and complete the required form. The charitable organization
will be allowed to customize its own method of selling tickets.
The 2007 Wyndham Championship is scheduled for August 13-19
at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro. To get your organization
